Fashion: Mapping Ideas for the Narrative

For the character of the narrative I've been thinking about films, such as David Lynch's Blue Velvet and Lars von Trier's Dancer in the Dark and Breaking the Waves. What I find interesting in these films in relation to the character is the leading roles by different women in more or less same sort of positions, yet in different circumstances: a delusional woman.

Concerning the visual side my interest lies on works by Juergen Teller and Corinne Day due to their nonchalant yet dramatic way of portraying people.
